Significant Parking Reduction During Construction in Reagan National's Economy Lot

Beginning February 17, parking capacity in Reagan National Airport’s Economy lot will be reduced by up to 40 percent to accommodate construction of a new parking structure that, when complete, will add flexibility to the airport’s parking operations. Initially, about 850 spaces will be unavailable so sitework can commence. At the peak of construction, up to 1,100 of the lot’s 2,680 spaces will be unavailable, temporarily reducing airport-wide parking availability.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority authorizes only those sedan or limo services that are permitted to operate at Reagan National Airport. Pre-Arranged reservations are required for pick up; please contact a local service provider for reservations. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Regulations (Section 5.3.3) expressly prohibits solicitation of any individual located at the Airport. Do not accept any rides from drivers who offer services outside of a pre-arranged reservation or ride app service.
