COVID-19 Parking Information Center

Current Lot Status

To encourage social distancing during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, parking products at Reagan National Airport have been temporarily modified.

Effective September 1, the parking rate in Terminal Garages will be $20 per day. Hourly rates remain unchanged.

Reserve your parking space in advance and receive a 15% or $3 per-day discount.

Terminal A Garage

Please enter Garage A on the West side of the airport. 

  • The Entrance (adjacent to the car rental return entrance) provides access to levels 4 and 5 of the garage - the only levels available for public parking. All payment methods accepted.
  • Please note that this Garage has a Vehicle Height Clearance of 7ft. For those customers operating oversized vehicles that will not fit inside the public parking garages, please make arrangements with Five Star Parking at 703-417-4300.

Ways to Pay

  • Bring parking ticket with you to the terminal and use pre-pay machines to save time. Then use your paid ticket to exit through any "Prepaid" lane.
  • Keep parking ticket in your vehicle and pay at a "Cash" or "Credit" exit-lane booth.
  • Customers who pre-booked using ePark: Enter and exit the garage using the same credit card used to make the reservation. Use any "Prepaid" lane for fastest exit.
  • If registered for smartphone app: Open phone app and enter and exit by scanning QR code from your vehicle at the entrance and exit gate.
  • Forms of payment accepted: Cash, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • Connected by covered walkway to Terminal A (Gates 1-9). Take elevator to basement level.
  • Shuttle service available to all terminals. Take elevator to Level 1 and exit building to "Parking/Rental Cars" bus stop.
  • Rental car counters are located on Level 1 of this garage.

Park Free Up to 60 Minutes

To avoid congested airport roadways during Project Journey, use Terminal Garages instead

To help reduce congestion on airport roadways during major Project Journey construction, Reagan National is offering a grace period of up to 60 minutes in Terminal Garages. For stays of longer than 60 minutes, regular parking rates and fees will apply. With traffic delays expected on roadways near Terminal B/C, using the garages to pick up or drop off passengers is the preferred alternative. All garages have easy indoor connections to the terminals.

How it Works:

  • Follow signs directly to Terminal Parking A, B, or C depending on your airline.
  • Pull a ticket at the garage entrance and keep it with you. Note the entry time printed on the ticket.
  • Proceed to a parking space wait for your traveler. Or, if you prefer, lock your car and meet inside the terminal. Garages have indoor, direct connections to all terminals. In Terminal Garages B and C, moving walkways can be found on Level 2.
  • To exit, return to your vehicle and drive to any open express exit lane. Insert your ticket in the machine within 60 minutes for complimentary parking.
  • Note: For stays of longer than 60 minutes, regular parking fees will apply.
    • 61 minutes will cost $12 (same as two hours of parking).
    • There is no first-hour discount for any parking duration longer than 60 minutes.

Disabled Parking Access

Facilities are accessible for persons with special needs

Specially designated parking spaces are available for the disabled in vehicles displaying a government-issued plate or placard for use by the disabled.  Spaces have been designated in the Airport's public parking facilities:

  • Terminal Garages - on each level close to elevators and Terminal A, B, and C walkways

Parking in spaces established for the disabled is authorized for all vehicles which display a government-issued plate or placard for this purpose.  Other vehicles using these spaces are subject to ticketing and towing.

When a parking facility is full, a uniformed parking assistant can assist you in locating the nearest available special needs parking space. Assistants will be posted outside the entrance of the full facilities. Let the uniformed parking assistant know you need a special needs accessible space; and please show the assistant your government-issued special needs parking credential.

All airport parking shuttles are wheelchair accessible and free of charge to all patrons.  They are equipped with motorized chair lifts or ramps.

Cell Phone Lot

The cell phone lot is temporarily closed to keep traffic moving during roadway construction

  • To alleviate congestion, the Cell Phone Lot is closed during terminal roadway construction
  • Customers are invited to use Terminal Garages A, B or C, where parking is FREE for up to 60 minutes
  • Terminal garages are connected to all terminals with moving walkways for convenient access

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Do you have charging Stations?

Location

There are 25 charging stations on the ground level of Terminal Garages B and C which service 29 parking spaces with convenient access to the Terminal walkways and the shuttle bus stop servicing all terminals. The spaces are reserved for “electric vehicle charging only” with special signage.

Types

The charging stations feature two types of charging: Level 1, which is a 120-volt outlet, and Level 2, which is a 240-volt connector. The station is activated onsite via ChargePoint smartphone app, ChargePoint “Charge Pass,” RFID-enabled credit card (free - for identification purposes only) or toll-free call to a 24/7 service center. Cost

There is no additional fee to use the stations, but regular parking rates apply as you exit the garage. The charging stations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Locate charging stations and determine availablity.
